Stop by to see our newest exhibit: The Great Native American Toolkit. This exhibit features prehistoric stone tools and pottery used by the ancient Mississippian (Mound Builder) cultures; Northeastern Woodland Lenape/Delaware and Iroquois; Anasazi/Pueblo of the Southwest; and ancient bone fishing tools carved by Alaskan Natives. The Great Native American Toolkit allows us to compare the fascinating similarities and differences of tool technologies that developed in various societies across the North American continent, which helps us understand how changes in landscapes greatly influenced the people living on them, causing differing tool adaptations.
Cost: Payment required - $5 adults, $4 children and seniors, free children under 12.
Categories: Art Galleries & Exhibits | Museums & Attractions
This event repeats weekly Thursday through Sunday until February 20, 2020: Dec 12, Dec 13, Dec 14
